Kangaroo Island #1

Well...Ken and Carol (Boone's parents) arrived this past week. We let them have a few days to adjust to time changes and jet lag. Then, we packed up the little bluebonnet (with WAY too much stuff for her to carry) and dashed off to Kangaroo Island for 4 days. What and amazing trip! We rented a little private cottage...literally on the edge of the waves in a secluded rocky cove. There we were entertained by a family of possums, lots of fishing and beautiful scenery. If anyone wants to take a trip to KI...this is the place to stay! On the journey, we managed to see Koalas, Echidnas, Goanas, New Zealand Fur Seals, Roos, Wallabies, and Birds galore. It was a beautiful island. Boone's Mother, Carol says "It was the Best 60th Birthday EVER!" Here are photos....
